Contract Award

Fayetteville, NC - A Fayetteville-based language and translation company with offices in Fayetteville, NC has been awarded a Department of Defense contract worth up to $250 million.

Shee Atiká Languages, LLC will contract its services to the U.S. Special Operations Command. According to the statement issued from MacDill Air Force Base in Florida, the contract contains a base year with four option years and is in support of special operations inside and outside the continental United States.

Sitka- Shee Atiká opens Sitka, Alaska office.

Shee Atiká Languages, LLC, a subsidiary of Shee Atiká Inc., is proud to annouce the opening of the Payroll Documentation Center in Sitka, Alaska. The office, with up to nine local employees, is responsible for payroll and employee documentation for hundreds of Shee Atiká's overseas employees. Nina Hermann, the Group Manager in Sitka, is putting together a first-rate team to handle this task.

Language-Learning Programs give SOF the resources they'll need for their missions

Special operations forces travel to a lot of countries, and while they are there, they need to know the language-- at least enough of the language to achieve their missions, at any rate. To meet that need, Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Navy Special Operations Command (NAVSOC), and Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC)turn to language training companies like Shee Atiká Languages, LLC of Fayetteville, N.C. Shee Atiká Languages provides roleplayers for warfighters engaged in training classes to prepare them for speaking to or dealing with people in foreign countries. Shee Atiká Languages has a standing contract with USSOCOM, whereby they provide services as needed, Ron Haynes, Shee Atiká Languages general manager, told Special Operations Technology.
