Shee Atiká Languages, LLC (SAL) is an Alaska Native Corporation-owned business based in Fayetteville, North Carolina providing language, role player, regional subject matter expertise and cultural advisor services to private and public sector institutions. Established in 2005 as a subsidiary of Shee Atiká, Incorporated (SAI), SAL is a team of talented professionals dedicated to applying analytical expertise to achieve effective solutions to the federal government’s unique problems. SAI is the Alaska Urban Native Corporation for Sitka, Alaska, established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971.
Based on more than three years of company experience backed by 37 years of corporate experience and over 200 years of cumulative leadership experience providing language, mentoring and advisement services to government clients, SAL understands the challenges faced by government institutions as they strive to achieve their missions in the face of changing regulations, economic turmoil and wartime conditions. SAL is experienced in both CONUS and OCONUS based work, supporting military efforts in the Global War on Terror and State Department efforts in rebuilding Iraq.
SAL’s principal and management team have developed an extensive network of contacts in the Federal government, particularly the Departments of Defense and State. Many of the SAL management team are retired military officers and non-commissioned officers and still enjoy frequent professional contacts in the military. Nearby Fort Bragg, the largest military base in the United States and home to 18th Airborne Corps, Army Special Operations Command, and the future home of US Forces Command and US Army Reserve Command, serves as a conduit for government marketing opportunities.
